Literature Text

the words we used to think
we knew how to define are
back to pass over us and
show us that while our
definitions weren't all wrong they
were
far from correct.

-

it's like if 'truth' broke in
to your house and held you at gun point,
or knife point because guns lie too
easily, and asked you about
every secret you've ever kept, every lie you've
ever told, every minute you
spent alone, and how you felt.

-

it's like if 'forever' took you for
a ride, then dropped you
off halfway, like you were just left
out,
alone,
by yourself, with nothing to
help you find your way.

-

it's like if 'faith' held your hand
and carried you over the ocean, and
convinced you it was
on your side, then, as you crossed over
the deepest part, it
let
go.

-

if we can't trust our dictionaries,
how can we trust each other.
i'm walking through the valley of the shadow of death, thoroughly enjoying the sunshine.

but seriously, everything you write is ridiculously beautiful.
